Having suffered from lower back pain for the better part of 40 years with little to no relief makes one skeptical - especially when all you have to do is, lie on your stomach for 30 minutes and let someone turn the lamp on and aim the lamp head at your lower back.

My husband had tried unsuccessfully for several months to get me to use the Infrared Lamp. There was extreme sciatic nerve pain after returning from a week-long business trip - having stood in long airport security lines, sitting for hours in the gate area and on the planes in addition to struggling with fifty pound pieces of luggage and electronic equipment in my computer bag that weighed almost as much as the checked luggage. Because it hurt to breathe, much less walk, it was with great anguish that I ambled to the bedroom and crawled onto the bed belly first. It has been almost four years and ironically, there has been no more sciatic nerve pain in spite of longer airport security lines, heavier luggage and longer waits, sometimes all night depending on the weather.

Was the Infrared Lamp a miracle cure? Maybe - maybe not but the lamp made my life pain-free from sciatic nerve misery.
